I bought the backpack for my teenage daughter. She doesn't really partake in winter sports. She wanted it because it's fashionable. It's well made and should last many years. I'll use it when she's finished with it. We are very happy with the purchase, especially because EMS had it on sale!

Hurray for this backpack that fits small women! I like the versatility and number of pockets. The mesh pockets on the side are a bit small for water bottles. Given the design, you can't fit too much into the front large zip compartment. Overall, this backpack is an excellent buy. I used it to travel to the Bahamas for five days and it worked very well. I especially recommend the nordic blue.

This pack is great for petite women who are overwhelmed by bulky, unisex packs.
It was wonderful!!!! I used it when I went to Colordao and gave me no problem.

I got this because of all the great reviews, and because of the color (I thought the brown/orange combo was really unique). I am 5 feet, by the way, and expected this to look more "normal" on my back than other backpacks. It did, but I am still getting used to its small size. The back padding is really stiff, and because the bag is small, my bag falls over on it's front ALL the time (it doesn't balance well). The water pockets on the side only hold a small bottle, can't fit a Nalgene or coffee mug. Overall, I'm happy with it because I'm a grad student and care about not overloading my back "like an undergrad". If you don't have to carry more than 1 book, a couple of notebooks and folders, then it will be perfect, size-wise.
