Comments about NAT GEO Adirondack Park Map, Lake Placid/High Peaks:

Bought this map to go with my handheld gps. Outstanding map that goes hand in hand with compass/gps. Eliminates confusion with complex trails and junctions. Highly recommend!

Comments about NAT GEO Adirondack Park Map, Lake Placid/High Peaks:

These NG maps are excellent. Waterproof, rip-proof...even easy to fold. Hikers should also get the Adirondack Mountain Clubs guides and maps for better trail details. Canoeists and kayakers should also get the Adirondack Paddlers Map from St Regis Outfitters for more detail on routes and portages. These are must have maps for explorers.
