Comments about OBOZ Women's Bridger BDry Hiking Boots, Rio Red:

I bought these hikers on the recommendation of a friend. I ordered a 1/2 size up and they fit perfectly. This is a good solid boot with excellent arch support and a mid ankle height. Perfect for hiking over hilly, rocky terrain. They require minimal break in and felt good on the first walk. They are well made but light. The oboz brand is new to me but I'm glad i took a chance. Oboz is now my favorite hiker. The red color is a true red, not pink or purple. Be sure to order 1/2 size up from your street shoe size.

Comments about OBOZ Women's Bridger BDry Hiking Boots, Rio Red:

I bought these in person at EMS Stuyvesant Plaza. I started with the lower model, and size 10,but change to changed to the higher model to cover ankles. They are very lightweight, but have kept my feet warm and dry on many outings - no major hikes, but daily walks through snow with the dog and cleaning up outside. OK, I have narrow heels and a low volume but wide forefoot. The ideal size would have been 10 1/5 to accommodate my larger foot, so the only beef I have is why not do a 10 1/2? A 10 might have worked, but I wanted to use thick socks - and take no chances with any toes hitting the end, so it was safer to size up. Going back to that narrow heel issue - I am able to tighten these enough so that my heels do not slip - and to pretty much keep my foot in place. The tops are soft and flexible. If I used these on a long hike, I'd add gaiters - to insure snow didn't get in the top ( thin ankles leave extra space). They are very, very comfortable and seem to work w/o any arch supports.

Comments about OBOZ Women's Bridger BDry Hiking Boots, Rio Red:

Bought these for day hiking and snowshoeing. I traditionally wear a 7 but got these in a 7.5 and they fit well with cushy socks.

Wore them for the first time snowshoeing (18degreesF) and my feet were dry and toasty the whole time.

There was a little soreness around the ankle the next day but i attribute that to not wearing lots of shoes that hit there. Absolutely no blisters.

The bindings left some areas of the red shoe slightly lighter in color.

They have a nice tread and are very sturdy. I picked them because the sole stiffness was between the Vasque boot and the Merrell/Ahnu boot. Intend to use these as all weather day hike boots and am very happy with my purchase!

Also, getting lost of compliments on the red. Will update after I've owned them for a while.
