Comments about OSPREY Women's Mira 34 Hydration Pack:

This was an awesome lightweight pack. We just came back from a trip in the Grand Canyon and this pack was so comfortable. This pack distributes the weight and is not bulky. With my previous backpack, it would get too heavy doing a lot of elevation change and this one was great and I had no problems with it getting in the way. I am so glad that I got this backpack and know I will use it all the time for my hikes. It has a nice amount of pockets and the sunglass pocket would hold a cell phone also and has nice protection. It was really nice getting the hydration system in and out of the pack to fill it and clean it. I love the magnetic holder so the mouthpiece is always handy when you want a drink.

Comments about OSPREY Women's Mira 34 Hydration Pack:

My EMS store did not carry the women's version but did the smaller man's version (Manta). I ordered the women's online and am so happy with it. Love the green color. Took it out to climb three of the ADK 46ERS last weekend and the women I was with all coveted my bag. Exceptional organization. Fantastic airflow on my back. Water stayed cold since it never touched my back. Could find everything quick and easy since lots of great compartments. Rained off and on so stuff pocket was great for rain jacket access. Just love everything about it. I only wish it could be ordered with bigger capacity, mine is 34 but would like to use it for backpacking so need more volume. Love it for what it is for, which is long day hikes or biking. Guess I will look at Ariel for backpacking. Also, prefer the more comfortable Camelback bite valve, might switch but not sure since Osprey magnetic holder wouldn't work. We'll see. Be careful screwing the reservoir cap on. Can be tricky and will leak if not perfect.

        hydration reservoir problems

Comments about OSPREY Women's Mira 34 Hydration Pack:

The stiffener sheet of the hydration reservoir press into the wearer's back if filled with more than about 2 liters, causing discomfort and limited air gap cooling effect. The stiffness of the cap retainer, and its tight fit to the cap, make it difficult to screw the cap on without cross-threading it--which of course causes it to leak. The pack itself is a nice day pack.
