Pros

  • Hero Sticks

Cons

  • Modifications required

Best Uses

  • Water Ice

Comments about PETZL Charlet Cascade Ice Pick:

I modified these to take the maselottes, and fit the new Quarks, with spectacular results. If you are less than impressed with the ICE picks, and are comfortable modifying these to fit, than it doesn't get any better for water ice.

Comments about PETZL Charlet Cascade Ice Pick:

These are great picks. These picks with the original Quark tools are a great combination. I don't do much mixed climbing with them, but they work fantastic on ice.

    Service and delivery comments:

Ordered over the phone and received parts within 2 days. Great service.

Comments about PETZL Charlet Cascade Ice Pick:

Not that you have much choice but the Petzl picks are great with the factory design. These picks are great for all ice climbing applications. I get about 1.5-2 seasons out of a set of picks with heavy weekend usage.
