Comments about PETZL William Ball-Lock Carabiner:

I bought this because it was the only biner at my local shop that would fit with a Gri Gri. It's a decent biner, but the ball locking system doesn't lend itself to one-handed operation. My BD Twistlock and OP Jake Quik Lock are much easier to use one-handed.

I like the Petzl William series, but would stick with the simple screwlock or the Triact-Lock.

Comments about PETZL William Ball-Lock Carabiner:

I climb an outdoor wall at a local camp. I decided to try this product instead of the spin gates. I have not been disappointed. After reading the other comments on this product, I was a bit apprehensive. I'm happy to say I was worried about nothing. I did not find any difficulty operating this product single-handedly.

Overall, I was pleased and have reccommended it to my friends.

Easy to use and safer than a twist lock. The only downside was mine came in purple.

Comments about PETZL William Ball-Lock Carabiner:

Easy to operate when you get used to the button
Auto locks with the button as an extra safety mechanism
It works well with the Petzl Gri-Gri, many other biners too thick
I use it for my main biner off my anchor
