Comments about PETZL William Triact-Lock Carabiner:

I use this biner when belaying someone while top roping. I like the ease of use and knowing that it is locking each time the gate closes (I still check every time though). The movement to operate the gate feels natural and is quicker and easier than a twist/screw lock (and you can't over tighten it). I think it would seem heavy for a more advanced climber doing multi pitch climbs. But for a day of top roping at the crag or indoor gym, it works great.

Comments about PETZL William Triact-Lock Carabiner:

This is a great carabiner for me. For those with small hands and want to be able to open the biner with one hand, this probably isn't the carabiner for you. The Triact-Lock mechanism is tight and functions in a very safe manner. This biner is very easy to use due to its large opening, and the key is designed not to hook on ropes that are trying to be taken out, making things run smoothly both in and out of the biner. I have medium to large hands and one hand operation isn't an issue.

Comments about PETZL William Triact-Lock Carabiner:

This locking biner is really hard to open with one hand. Unless, may be, if you have big hands.
And it's even harder to manipulate with gloves on when ice climbing
I really can't use it. Back to my old screw type biner.
