The iMainGo X Portable Speaker system amazed me. I was surprised by the quality of the sound from such a small device. You can actually play loud music without the usual small speaker distortion and you can hear the bass as well. It would be nice if it came with a car charger for travel. My teenagers love this unit. It packs a powerful punch for such a small item.

I have tried other small/portable MP3 players and this one is KING. Big clear sound in a compact player. Rechargable batteries don't hold a charge as long as I would like - sure beats buying batteries though.

I purchased an iMainGo2 last year and I was very pleased with it, so when I saw the new iMainGo X, I didn't think it could get much better. I was wrong! This thing almost knocked my socks off when I first turned it on. The sound quality is even more amazing than I expected! As if thats not good enough, the bass in EVERY song that I've played is crisp & clear, which is crucial when purchasing a portable stereo. The rechargeable battery feature is also much appreciated because I can plug it in and recharge it at home or work. I watched a great review of the iMaingo x on the Travel Channel recently which ultimately led to me purchasing the new iMaingo x. Very happy with it and worth every penny!

Our son uses this case as a speaker for communication device. The speaker works great for "speech", but also adds protection for his Ipod. We had the original iMainGo and though it worked well, the battery changing/recharging was a hassle. We added a camera shoulder strap from optic tech for greater ease of use and insures that he won't drop/lose the device.
