Comments about DAGGER Alchemy 14.0 L Kayak:
I have only had this kayak for 3 weeks and have used it 5 days a week in rivers, bays and Lake Ontario, so far I am very impressed. I am 5'11" and 240lbs and I feel I can really toss this boat around while still maintaining a sufficient comfort level. I have never felt too big for this kayak. I went from a 17' British style fiberglass kayak to this and have been having a ton of fun ever since. Any speed given up was made up for by handling.
Very easy to maneuver, carve turns and roll. Storage is at a premium if going on a long trip (week +) especially with the skeg splitting the rear compartment. When the skeg is all the way down you go from play boat to a straight cruising touring kayak. Lower deck profiles shed cross winds well.
The Seat hugs you perfect as you become one with the boat. The seat needs some tinkering with initially to keep the feet from going numb. Foot rests are very easy to adjust on the go.
Sufficient deck rigging keeps all your toys attached and within reach. The day hatch cover needs some wearing in, all the hatch covers are very tight and take some persuasion to seal (generally good) however this makes the day hatch difficult to close while twisted around on the water. At first I was skeptical of the plastic stiffener going down the center of the inside of the kayak, turns out it keeps dry boxes and water bottle from sliding around without impeding lower body comfort.

Comments about DAGGER Alchemy 14.0 L Kayak:
The Alchemy is a great play boat, the video speaks for its self. One thing that I don't care for is the soft plastic Dagger used in this boat[@]Tony Johnson
