Comments about Adventure Medical Kits AMK Ben's Clothing and Gear Repellent:

I've heard this stuff works well, but the pressured spray can is really bad. It doesn't spray evenly instead it comes out in big drops and gobs. It was impossible to cover my clothes fully and the pressure ran out before the can was finished. I'm left with a third of the can wasted that can't be used.

I've used the pump type from another brand and that worked much better.

Don't waste your money on this one.

Can't get it out of the can

        By theoldhorse

Comments about Adventure Medical Kits AMK Ben's Clothing and Gear Repellent:

The spray nozzle is extraordinarily difficult to operate. My wife could not exert enough force on the top release button to cause a spray. It took every means of leverage and all the strength I could apply to produce a very brief squirt of spray. And yes, I had turned the cap to the ON position. I was convinced the can had no aerosol propellant. I returned it and exchanged for another, and had the same difficulty.

If you cannot get it out of the can and on the garment it is useless!

its easy to apply and works great but keep in mind that Permethrin is crazy bad for cats and can be fatal. spray it outside if possible and dont let your cats near treated items. other then that its awesome product

My son used this product for the last 2 camping trips, and no ticks. I did not have issues spraying, and covered his shoes, and pants from the knee down. Thankful, as it is not fun to pull ticks off your child!
