Comments about GARMIN Forerunner 410 with HRM:
i previously had the 305. loved it! i had the 305 for years...but it currently has a short( it turns itself off)...so i purchased the 410... it is smaller and much better looking. it can also double as a watch unlike the 305. this is a nice feature. if you didn't previously have the 305 you'll probablly love this watch. i'm not a big fan of the bezel, guess i'm more of a button guy!...if you are wanting to use it for shorter intervals... i would say you are better off going to the track - you can program the watch with time splits( i tend to forget what lap i'm on- so this is good for me) - the gps is better for long intervals and tempos where your speed doesn't vary so quickly(often). and its nice that the info downloads to your computer...easy way to keep a log :)... currently i use the training peaks software( been using it since my 305- i would recomend it)...and garmin connect is a backup.

Comments about GARMIN Forerunner 410 with HRM:
I use it for bicycling with the optional cadence monitor. Lots of fun but hard. Now that I'm learning how to use it I like it but there is a steep learning curve and for me, a lot of the set up and figuring our how to use it was counter-intuitive. Once the guys at EMS sat with me and showed me how to calibrate everything and find the options, things started to get easier.
