To enjoy the jackets (it is my second one) I had to make my self familiar with what 5K-20K means (how well H2Oproof and etc, the least is 5K the heavy duty water, snow, wind proof is 20K). On the website it does not say that it is 5K jacket. I think it would be better if they add this info. However, this info is on the jacket tags. So read what 5K specifications and wear accordingly. It is good for some rainy weather. You can not expect to wear it comfortably for heavy conditions like long heavy rains- where yo may need more than 5K shell. Also, NY rains can make 5K jacket wet, if you outside too long. I like it for snowboarding as outside shell. VERY light!)

The jacket fits great and looks sharp. However, my only con was that I thought, as a Sync Jacket, it was supposed to be able to be zipped together to another sync jacket. I already had a Summit Fleece Jacket, I bought this particular jacket to use as a shell so I could combine both and use them as a new snowboarding jacket. They snap together at three points with the buttons at the ends of the sleeves and one behind the neck. That leaves you with two separate zippers in the front. It will work just the same, I just wish the fleece jacket had the ability to connect to this jacket in the front by a zipper to create one single jacket.

I love this jacket. The only reason it didnt get 5 stars is because the fleece and rain shell zippers do not work in combination. That wasnt enough of a deal breaker though.

I wore this jacket with a north face fleece under it on a 4 day trip. During the 4 days it rained it snowed it was 60, it was 10, this jacket alone was great at keeping me dry through rain and snow and was good at keeping the wind out. I could not have been more happy with this jacket.

This is a really nice jacket with a lot of pockets. It keeps you warm in the raw New England spring weather and I'm sure the fall too. I've worn it on really windy, cold days and it keeps you warm with no wind seepage.

I wanted a jacket that was waterproof and had some insulation. Kind of a three season approach. It may not be three seasons but winter to late spring and fall on I think it will work for all but the coldest of winter days. Also becuase of weight it's a good car jacket.

The jacket fits well and allows for free movement while skiing. Stops the wind and sheds the snow well. I wish it had a few more interior pockets, but otherwise it is a great jacket for skiing and other outside winter activities.

I used this jacket on a NOLS semester and it served me very well. I had the fleece that made the jacket a combo and it kept me very warm and for the most part, dry. I still have this jacket 6 years later and use it everyday. I've put this jacket through the works and it is very tough. highly recommended
