I got this jacket for a trip I'm taking to London where it often rains. I've now tested it in a heavy rain storm as well as biking to work. Jacket keeps me warm and dry. I did see the review with the zipper issue but have not had that trouble myself. Zipper needs to snap in place first and then it zips up fine for me. If I have a complaint, it's the lack of colors to choose from, but that's a minor issue and I'm really happy I purchased this jacket.

I'm afraid that this jacket is going back. I like the fit, the feel, the features BUT the main (double) zipper is not good. I've worn the jacket about 5 times and have had trouble most times with the zipper not catching or not lining up with its mate. I can tell this is going to be big trouble down the line so I'm returning it.

I bought this jacket as a packable shell to use on its own and with a down layer for colder treks. The sizing was great. I appreciate the overall length and the sleeve length, as I am tall. It's ok in moderate wind but you really need a better wind lock layer underneath for truly blustery conditions. The hood I find cumbersome, especially when it is rolled away. And I do wish it would pack down a bit smaller . Otherwise, I am very happy with the shell and it works well with the other Access pieces that I own.

I do love this jacket. I bought it for an upcoming trip to Alaska. It is comfortable, very warm and keeps the wind out just like it says. I was hoping it would pack into a pocket or bag but it is heavier than I expected. I did find a way to pack it into its hood. I bought a thinner rain jacket to take but like this so much I decided to keep it too for the glacier days and to use at home. I love the pockets to store items like gloves and keys too. Thanks EMS!

I've been looking for a coat that was multipurpose for wind/rain/sleet/snow walking, running, or riding my bike (predominantly for bike commuting to work) and also that retains heat, but is breathable because I get hot really easily. Although I haven't been in a heavy rain yet, this coat is very wind resistant on the bicycle and attractive. It's form fitting, and yet still technical and durable. I will definitely wear it to work in times of foul weather, or not if I just need a light jacket. I bought a black small and I'm about 5'7" and 135 lbs with slender build.
