I was disapointed in these mittens. I tried wearing one and my favorite warmest gloves (Kombi) on the other for two days. I didn't feel any difference and at times my hand with the glove was colder. I bought the mittens to keep my hands really warm and they didn't measure up. Would need a glove liner or something with the mittens. The ratio of length to width is also off with too much material for the fingers making the mittens clumsy.

The only odd thing about the design is the long cords at the wrists...excessively long. Can get tangled up in things, i.e. equipment one is handling.
I use these mittens to keep my hands warm during the winter Public Market in Rochester, NY. I am someone who is cold indoors with the heat blasting so I need really warm mittens that are water-proof. These are doing the job!

They are warm, but if it is really cold, just add a set of hand warmers inside the glove. This combined with the wind and rain resistance is great.
