I climb V5/6 boulder problems. These shoes are super aggressive and the rubber is beyond compare. I have climbed in Venoms and Jet 7s and I really like these shoes. I have a preference for the fiveten over other brands. Jet 7s were my favorite shoes of all time, but these shoes are a close second.
These shoes are very narrow (I have a wide foot) and VERY tight. I was an 8 in the Jet 7s but an 8 1/2 in the Blackwing. The Blackwings are not as good in over hangs as the Jets, but it is a more sensitive shoe. I find that I can't wear them longer than 3 hours before my feet are totally blasted. These shoes are not for beginners and you will never feel comfortable in these shoes. For those who wear dragons, these are a Velcro version that heel hooks great!
Overall, I like these shoes. Heels feel great. The rubber is very sensitive. I have limbed in mine for almost a year now and they are still holding up. I climb twice a week at a gym for three to four hours so these shoes have really given me my money's worth.

I like this shoe and chose it in particular because of the wider toe-box compared to the solutions, which were starting to give my big toes bunions. I think this is a good outdoor only shoe because of the excellent sensitivity, however this also means it is softer and doesn't edge quite as well as Solutions. The fit is great particularly with the padding, but the heel is less secure than the one on my Solutions. The Velcro closure feels very secure and the uppers mold well to ones foot shape and don't stretch. Haven't used them that long, but durability seems good so far.
