Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Women's Powerstretch Full-Zip Hoodie:
I love this product to going running in. It keeps out the cold and the hood fits great as well. The thumbholes allow for comfort which keeps the sleeves in place and helps to keep your hands warm during the cold weather. My favorite piece of running gear!
Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Women's Powerstretch Full-Zip Hoodie:
I Love this! I'm big on the thumb holes and long sleeves! The hood is perfect for cold mornings and nights jogging with the dog! I was just in Seattle for work-outdoors this zippy layered with a sweatshirt kept me warm! I did go up a size so I could layer it-I have no tolerance for the cold. I bought the turquoise-the color is beautiful! A Fall/Winter Staple! You wont be dissapointed!

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Women's Powerstretch Full-Zip Hoodie:
I wore this on a weekend overnight camping trip April 12-14, 2013 right afer we received 28 inches of snow. The temps ranged from 35 during the day to 10 at night. I wore a couple of thin baselayers under it and it worked like a charm. This jacket is warm, the hood covers very well, its light weight, repells light moisture, drys fast, etc. I would like to buy every color. They do what they are suppose to do but are very fashionable too. I have gotten a lot of comments about my power stretch and everyone asks me where I got it. I live in Western SD and wish this store existed out here, but the customer service is awesome and shipping is in a timely manner. LOVE LOVE LOVE this product. I would also like to add that I used this hoodie on a snowshoe trip to Colorado in early March and it was the only jacket I wore. The only con would be that it does pill around the pockets, but it is due to the type of gloves I wear. The velcro sticks to the jacket sometimes around the pockets if I am trying to get into them and it pulls the fabric creating some pilling. This is a non issue for me though.

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Women's Powerstretch Full-Zip Hoodie:
I own quarter zip version of this fleece from 2 seasons ago and I love it. I got this specific one for cold weather running as it has an awesome hood that covers lower part of my face (don't need neck gaiter), it is very stretchy and moves with me as I run, and it super warm. It is also somewhat wind resistant. Overall, I ran in it when it was 5 degrees F with a long sleeve shirt underneath and was perfectly toasty. I also use it for skiing as my midlayer. One drawback-I have a hard time parting with it and want to wear it all the time!!! Overall, thumbs up EMS. Great product.

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Women's Powerstretch Full-Zip Hoodie:
Great from city to the Crag. Got one for my wife and myself. She likes it under a puffer mainly for the nice cut on the hood to keep neck warm and the not bulky cut of jacket as whole to wear as a midlayer. She however noted that unless you are using it for something active the fact that it gives no wind protection it can only be a mid layer. I have used the jacket a lot for running and without wind in say a 20 degree day it's comfortable. But even on a day in the high 30's without a wind shell it's cold. Also climbing in it the fabric bunches under chin on your chest when you raise you arms which makes it hard to see your feet or the rock. So over all as a mid layer I like this jacket and the stretch makes it real comfortable but its lack of wind protection makes it less useful as an outerlayer plus the cut makes the jacket raise when arms are overhead even with the stretch. Bottom line. Take it running bring a shell but I would take it backcountry. Better options out there for a middle layer.

Love these powerstretch hoodies! This is my second one, and somehow they actually made them even softer this time around. Perfect midlayer over a merino base and under a shell.

I love this jacket. I only wish it were longer in the back. Many running jackets curve down in the back to help keep warm.

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Women's Powerstretch Full-Zip Hoodie:
Wear over lightweight base layer for cold weather mountain climbing. Layers well under a hardshell jacket.
Hood is great for temperature maintenance and easy on/off to protect from falling snow.
Thumb holes cut into hand - should be longer on the sleeve. Vents in pits and body would make the hoodie perfect.
