I have consitently been pleased with BD's headlamp offerings. The Storm represents a major improvement on a great product. It is lightweight, waterproof and has numerous lighting options. There is a bit of a learning curve to using the single button (that both turns the light on and selects different modes and intensities) to operate the unit but use is easy once you get the hang of it. The high intensity mode illuminates very well and the red "night vision" mode is adequate for close-in map reading without compromising ones low-light acclimitization. Overall a versatile and well-engineered product.

bought it for my very picky husband and he loves it. It came in very handy when the power went out! Great multipurpose headlamp, not too heavy, easy to adjust and switch functions.

This light illuminates the whole road in front of me when running in the dark. It has been an excellent investment now that the daylight hours are so short.

I purchased this headlamp after I made it through the threat of another power outage. I realized that all of the lanterns, candles and flashlights wouldn't do much good if I had my hands full. Thank goodness my power didn't go out but I've since used the lamp to finish up yard work when it started getting dark at 5:00PM. The lamp is amazingly bright and it makes work easy. I plan to buy another for a gift.

I wore this for a Spartan Race and was in and out of water,running through trees and climbing over obsticles. This thing didn't even flinch and stayed in place the whole time. Really comfortable and super bright!

Used it for camping and what a light, it is bright on the main and great on the small for inside the tent.. also used it working under my car.. You can use it for almost anything.
My wife uses it when walking th edog at night.

I finally had to replace my old headlamp and this one is a winner! I could easily spot animals in the woods at night (like a bear!) and also spread the beam out when cooking a late dinner or brewing early morning coffee.
