Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Air Channel Pad, Rectangular:
I had high hopes as I added this to my gear set focused on lightweight. The first use was a weekend outing in my tent. The ground was not perfectly level and all night long I kept sliding into the corner of the tent because it was so slippery. I was afraid I would actually rip the tent. Didn't sleep much those two nights. The second use was in an Adirondack lean-to that had settled slightly and was not level. I woke up an hour into the night to find my legs hanging over the edge of the lean-to opening by almost the length of my calf. A little more and I would have wound up in the mud outside. Again it is just too slippery to stay in place on anything but a dead level surface. To make matters worse, every time you move, it swishes and rustles enough so other campers commented on how noisy I was. This mattress was comfortable but only if you can sleep absolutely still and not move all night. I suppose a rubber pad of some kind would make things 'stick' but that defeats the whole purpose of getting a light weight inflatable to start with. Frankly, if EMS will take this back, I will be glad to part with it and select something more suitable.

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Air Channel Pad, Rectangular:
This sleeping pad is very comfortable with even firmness. So far we have used it winter camping (temps in the single digits) with a foam pad underneath. It kept the cold away and held its air all night. Very easy to set up, we use a Big Agnes "The Pumphouse" to blow it up. It is very quick this way. We did blow it up by mouth the first time at our house and it took a while! It fits nicely inside our Big Agnes sleeping bag. It is small and light and comes with a storage bag. It was very quick to pack up in the morning.
