Comments about THE NORTH FACE Women's Arctic Parka:
After buying and returning many coats because they were to flimsy, delicate and not warm, I was ecstatic to finally find this coat! I live in rural Massachusetts where it can go below 0 with lots of wind and snow or freezing rain. I have goats and chickens that need to be looked after and this coat makes it fun to be out in weather. It is durable. It will not snag on fence or brier. It is water proof and will keep you dry. It is warm! The warmest coat I have ever owned. Fit is great. I am 5'4 and weigh 125-129 (yea I know, I need a diet). Did I mention that I just throw it in the washer and dryer? Cleans up beautifully.

Comments about THE NORTH FACE Women's Arctic Parka:
It's perfect for walking around a cold and windy city but when I walk into a building I immediately begin to over heat. It makes the ride on the subway miserable and I can't get it off fast enough.

Comments about THE NORTH FACE Women's Arctic Parka:
Looked for a stylish yet warm jacket to wear
all winter long. Very warm and long enough to
cover my legs and the hood is a great extra
feature to have if I need it. Really love this
I wish I would of purchased it last winter.

Comments about THE NORTH FACE Women's Arctic Parka:
I love this coat. It's super warm and not excessively bulky. Based on other reviews I found online I initially bought a size Medium but it ended up being way too huge on me so I returned it for a Small. It fits so much better. An XS might even be fine since I have a lot of room underneath still. I'm around 5'3" 120ish. The only part I don't like is the fur on the hood, and when you remove it the hood becomes too small in my opinion. Otherwise great all-around!
