Best Uses
- Back-packing
- Travelling
Did plenty of research on this pack and checked it out in-store before I bought it, was in love at first try. I just got back from 3 weeks of travelling through China and Thailand, and this bag made the trip. The main compartment zips open all the way; forget about struggling to stuff things in from the top. It has straps inside to keep stuff in place and the mesh pockets on the inside of the flap hold a ton of stuff. The detachable day pack is a dream come true, perfect for every excursion I took from the hostels I stayed in. The straps on the outside let you really tighten the pack up, nothing ever moved around on me. I only brought enough clothes for a week plus personal effects all in compression sacks and I had room to spare. Whats really awesome is the flap that allows you to zip away the straps for the airplane. I carried on the main pack and kept the day pack under my seat on the planes with no problems, forget checking on luggage. And on top of all of it this bag is tougher than nails, I abused the zippers and seams for 21 days straight with no problem at all. If you want to travel with one bag, THIS IS IT.
