last year I bought this NF jacket in blue to wear for fall. Ended up wearing it all winter! LOVE it. This year I bought a red one. Cons: hope nobody finds out I paid LESS then half the price. EMS is now my favorite web site for North Face.

Jacket is very attractive, usable and warm, however, because of the fleece it is not waterproof. However, I purchased for my husband and he is very happy with the jacket and so am I.

I bought this to keep me warm for the New York City winters. So far, it's done a great job. It also fits with other North Face shell jackets with a small strap thing at the wrists. Although it was a bit larger than I expected, it's not a big deal at all. Overall, a great product!

lack of wind and moisture resistance limit the usefullness of jacket to windless, moistureless days, .... which in winter is a major limitation. requires a rain shell to be of much use. this well made fleece wears well, fits well and "breathes well" having essential pit zips to adjust to a full range of aerobic activities. if you paid full price for the jacket, you bypassed many more recent product offerings that are superior in terms of technical performance.

Other than the color is a bit bright, it is a great buy and North Face fleece wears like iron. This is my husbands first North Face fleece but my son is on this third and the first two were passed along to my neighbors son in good condition.
