Comments about WESTERN MOUNTAINEERING Sycamore 25° MF Sleeping Bag, Regular:
Used on a section hike of the AT from Harpers Ferry to Waynesboro took this bag cause I found record lows near freezing and I sleep cold -- well this bag has an accurate temp rating hit freezing one night which is the only night I actually slept in the bag and I was hot! The other nights I used it as a comforter and was also hot. You can't beat the quality and the weight for a semi rectangular bag with this temp rating western mountaineering really comes through!

Comments about WESTERN MOUNTAINEERING Sycamore 25° MF Sleeping Bag, Regular:
This is simply put a high quality down sleeping bag. I have used it down to freezing with no problem. It could be used to lower temperatures with wearing clothes and a liner. The hood seems like a unique design that is roomier than other bags. I am 5'11" 215 lb and the bag fits me better than any other bag I slipped into.
The bag makes a very fluffy comforter and blanket because of the rectangle foot design. I use the bag daily at the moment as a comforter.
My only complaint is that it takes a bit of time for the down to inflate after being packed. I am not familiar with other down bags as this is my first down bag. This bag may be better or worse than other bags. I would estimate the inflation time to be approximately one to two hours.
