I had one set of the Thule load straps and need a second set to tie additional kayaks to the roof rack. They did not have any Thule load straps in-stock so I purchased a different brand. BIG MISTAKE. After trying to use the other brand twice I had to return them for the Thule brand. The other brand was difficult to thread through the metal slide, hard to get started and hard to pull through. They also did not come with the rubber covers.
The Thule brand is easy to thread through the metal slide, easy to pull snug and has rubber protectors.
The gentleman at the store was very helpful. The straps were still not in stock but he helped me order them on line, on a store computer, with free shipping.
