These shoes were recomended by the EMS sales person because of my wide foot. I am so happy I had listened. These are by far the best and most comfortable shoes I have worn. I just purchase a second pair after putting many hard miles on my first. They are still in great shape after 3 years of use but I need to start alternating them out. I have only positive coments for these shoes. I was originally told they are not waterproof but they seemed to give it their best shot. Just make sure you dry them out after a wet walk.

Wonderfully comfortable. Only drawback - the sole wore down. After six months of daily usage that includes a 10 day 85 mile backpacking trek, several 10 and 5 backpacking trips and wearing them to work every day. The Vibram soles did wear down. However, I replaced them by email order and the new ones fit as comfortably as the old ones. I highly recommend them.

Gave these to my dad for his birthday and he loves them. Every time I talk to him he tells me they're the best shoes he's ever had! Looked at his other shoes to get the size and the size I got was spot on. They're also really light for a hiking shoe.

I have purchased four of these over the last few years. I wear them ALL the time. Winter and summer. Need wool socks in the winter. I had foot issues so am sticking with these winners. THis particular one is my first waterproof one. I usually buy the regular ones. so far they are fine. Not enough rain to test them while walking.

I wear this shoe everyday even in the 98 degree heat! The wide size is the best feature. my foot actually fits in the shoe now instead of me buying a larger size for increased width.
