These shoes are great!! I needed a pair of waterproof hiking shoes for the AT last weekend and ended up with these. Bought on Thursday, left for the trail on Saturday and I didn't have any issues on the 34+ mile 4 day trek. Construction seems perfect so far and the waterproof factor is great. I even dunked my foot in a stream (by accident) up past my ankle. My foot stayed relatively dry and the shoes were 100% dry the next day. This was a bit more than I planned on spending but I souldn't be happier.

i spent 8 days in baxter state park in maine with these guys, fresh outta the box. i was very pleasantly surprised with the comfort despite the zero break in/warm up. could dry/breathe better, but i really liked the fit, roomy toes, and slightly wide. seemed to be made well.

I am not impressed whatsoever. I bought a pair of these shoes and within a week, the heel on one shoe started peeling off. I returned them for a new pair (that was shipped to me) and found the heel on one shoe seemingly not assembled properly to the shoe. It looked like the heel was not lined up with the shoe correctly from the factory. Very dissatisfied

The shoes look great. I just use them to walk around town and go to work with them. I really do not intend to use them for hiking. I think the Asolos are far better shoes for that.These shoes felt very tight at my usual size(10.5US) so I got 11. They relaxed a little bit since I started wearing them, but 11 still feels like the better choice.The insoles are shifting a little bit (I had to stick a tape under it). But that might be uncommon issue since this is happening on my left foot only :) (it is may be me).I am giving 4 stars because they didn't fit true to the size and because of the inner sole issues I am having. I expect no break-in periods from [$] shoes! I still like them. The comfort is amazing!
