I bought these boots right before a trip to New Zealand and I couldn't have asked for anything better. No blisters, even though I didn't break them in before my trip. Very comfy and durable. Plus, the purple just adds a little flare! Size runs a whole size small but trading them in for a bigger size was an easy fix. Overall, I would recommend this boot to anyone who likes to go hiking and backpacking or just needs a good walking boot around town.

I use these to hike trails and small mountains. I fell in love with the look and feel the leather will hold up/wear nicely. I ordered online because I've had Merrells before and have always been the same size but for some reason these were too small... my foot went numb. Now that I've exchanged for the next 1/2 size I am happier... love that forward roll the sole gives with each step. The shoelaces come untied easily, so I'll likely buy a new pair... frustrating given the price of the boot in the first place.

I originally sized up a 1/2 size to accommodate orthotics but there wasn't enough volume in the toe box. I had to go up a full size so they are actually a little loose now. Still a great, comfortable boot and would highly recommend.
