I wanted a Timbuk2 case but didn't see one on the website and so I bought this item. It is functional but clunky and pedestrian - it does one thing, one way. The Timbuk2 line of small phone/multipurpose cases are vastly superior. For starters they have a spare battery compartment and 2 Way velcro closure that allows you to wear the case vertically or horizontally. And they are rugged. Did I mention they are rugged? Skip the sideways clip case and buy a Timbuk2. I found one by calling the store in SoHo and I'm picking mine up today...
