I assumed because they are packaged as biking gloves they would have some wind-resistent qualities. However, wind does cut right through them thereby reducing their thermal qualities. Now, while running in still conditions or tucked into my sleeves, they are quite warm. Add wind and they are average at best.
But, based on the price, I have gotten what I paid for.
