The machine stitches connecting the tongue to the body of the shoe at the top of the laces were hard and painful in both shoes. Sloppy work. This was my third pair of Salomons, so I thought I could just order them with out trying them on. Very disappointed.
Returned the shoes!!

This is my third pair of salomon winter running shoes and I've always been happy with their performance. They have great traction, though in icy conditions I will put stabilicers over them.
They are warm and dry initially, but tend to lose the waterproofing after a few months.

I had a pair of similar Solomon shoes in a different style they were a better fit. I like that they are waterproof, I am a gardener and work in the dew every morning they really keep my feet dry.
Had to order second time because they run a half size too big. Took the first pair back at the store to save shipping on the return.

These are my very favorite shoes for walking. I LOVE them. I have used them for the last 4 years - different year models. They were the ONLY shoe I could wear when I had plantar fasciitis. They even helped my foot alot - so much so that I didn't have to wear my orthodic in this shoe! They have been totally comfortable, arch supporting shoes that consistently keep my feet dry in wet weather. I will ALWAYS wear these shoes.
