This is an update to my previous review. I took these to Costa Rica and was glad I had them for my excursions to Corcovado National Park. Getting to the park from the sea, you disembark from the boat into the water and wade to the beach. These sandals are great because the sand washes right out of them even with your feet still in them. I definitely recommend them.
