This is not a small thermos, but it's hard to believe it holds a whole gallon! I use it to have a warm beverage after cold activities-skiing, snowshoeing, hiking. I can leave it in the car and the contents stay HOT! Not warm-HOT! I haven't yet used it in the summer, but know from using other Hydro products that tasty cold beverages will stay cold and tasty even after sitting in a hot car all day. It's nice to have a beverage to share with others instead of bogarting a little thermos to myself. And your friends will thank you!
