Tried these socks as alternative to famous brand that hangs next to it. Less expensive, better fitting after multiple washes and doesn't wear out at heel. Best buy in socks IMO.

I switched over to these socks as the only sock I own a few years ago. They are great. I havn't worn a hole in any of them after close to four years. I wear work boots 12 hours a day, 5-7 days a week. These socks have made a noticeable difference in how dry my feet are at the end of the day. Fewer rounds of foot funk = happy me. My only complaint is that EMS changed the color scheme and now I have to match my socks again instead of throwing them all in a drawer. Great Socks.

I bought these socks for summertime hiking, and I have also used them for biking and skiing. They are great socks so far. They wick moisture well, fit perfectly, and are cool and comfortable. These socks work great as a summertime athletic/ hiking sock or as a base-layer sock under my medium-weight Smartwool pHD's for winter. I've only had them a month, so I can't comment on durability. However, these socks seem to be well made.

I took these socks out in the field for a test. On Dec 1st New England got a decent snow, so I decided to do a bit of mountian hiking with some friends. I probably should have packed my goretex boots, but didn't anticipate the amount of snow. To my amazement the socks held up extremely well. Kept my feet warm for 5+ hours in the snow. The only time they even got wet was when i had the defrost on in the car ;)
These socks are awesome, a little thin though so it wears down when you got boots on. Could use a little more thickness in the heal.(hence the 4 stars)

I wear these socks to work everyday. They conform very nicely to my feet without being too tight or loose. My feet tend to sweat quite a bit in regular socks when wearing all leather shoes. These socks have reduced feet sweat significantly.
I mix in the midweights when working or playing outside when the weather gets cold.
My only wish is that they made these in black as well.

Purchased a couple of pairs for my recent trip to a South American rainforest. Used in rubber boots while walking through streams where water consistantly overtopped my boots. Socks stayed tight and secure...didn't get loose or slide in the boot. Use for office work too...very warm and comfy.
