Comments about TUBBS Wilderness 25 Snowshoes:

used these roughly a half dozen times so far. Comfortable, light weight and easy to use. Heel elevator is far more useful than I thought it would be. Had old pairs of snowshoes before with out elevator and it makes a huge difference. I use these on barely used walk way paths in the summertime and untouched in the winter. they handle pretty steep and uneven terrain well with no slippage of my foot in the binding. Crampon spikes grip very well and decking keeps you well afloat. I weigh around 160 and usually carry a 25-lb pack and no issues so far.
My only cons are the binding straps. Still good quality, but could be better heavier duty ratcheting system more like snowboard binding. Strap retainer that holds what is left of the strap after it's in place is kind of pointless. No issues with bindings coming undone or slipping. I just think those 2 things could be a little heavier duty.
I would give it a 5 but I haven't had the shoes for more than a month so far.

Have used them on three hikes so far and they stood up well to the variable terrain and deep snow.
