Comments about TUBBS Wilderness 30 Snowshoes:

My first set of snowshoes and I really love them. Easy to use, tough, light and very nice binding and crampon system. I feel confident on all the terrain I have been on. I've yet to use the heel elevator but I got this model just because it has that option. I plan on doing some climbing with these so that was a must.

Seems like a nice set of snowshoes but we haven't had any snow yet for me to try them out. Not complaining though. Had enough snow last year.

Comments about TUBBS Wilderness 30 Snowshoes:

My wife and I are new to snowshoeing, but we also didn't want "beginner" or cheap snowshoes just to try it out. We bought the Wildnerness because we go out on weekends and hike in the winter, but wanted to snowshoe instead. The trail is sometimes groomed, sometimes deep in snow. This snowshoe works great on both. We were amazed how easy snowshoeing was the first time out with these shoes. We've seen others, and we are so glad we spent a little more on a better brand and model. We can use these for a very long time. The original setup with the straps over the boots is easy, and then all you have to do is use the buckle to snap in the bindings and you're off.
