Comments about STANLEY Adventure Clip Grip Coffee Mug, 16 oz.:
I like the large capacity of it, at 16oz. It has a nice finish, with subtle colours. The Clip is handy. But after this, it's all downhill. Do not clip the mug to the outside of your pack as the gray finish of the body is very, very easily scratched (now it travels inside my pack). Once I realized this, I immediately knew that the handiness of the clip is lost forever. After a few dings and scratches the mug will look terrible. The only other gripe, and for me, this is a major one, is despite the double wall insulation, hot liquids get cold fast. I bought the mug thinking it would be a great alternative to my much-loved and used, insulated 20oz bottle. Nope, just this morning after 2 hours outside, the hot water in the Stanley was lukewarm while my 20oz was still steaming.
The Stanley looks very nice but is a bit fragile and is poorly insulated.
Stanley can improve this with a hardier finish and better insulation.

Comments about STANLEY Adventure Clip Grip Coffee Mug, 16 oz.:
I expected better from a Stanley product. I bought this to use to take soup to work as a ski patroller this winter. Even though the mug is in a warm building while I'm out on the mountain, soup that I put in it at a near-boiling temperature at 7am is just barely lukewarm by 10am, not even close to lunch time. Meanwhile, tea that I put in another brand (K.K.) insulated mug at 7 still burns my mouth at 10. I had high hopes for this mug, so I am quite disappointed.
