I only put that con there because that's the only thing I can think of. It might not even be the bags fault, and is likely the result of operator error.
As far as the warmth goes, I tend to run pretty hot so I've been comfortable in this bag down to around 35F, and without a doubt could go lower.
Also it comes with its own compression sack so you can compress it down to absolutely nothing.

I used this on a cross-country motorcycle trip so space was at a premium. Temps in Yosemite got down to 33 deg F, it kept me warm with long underwear and hat on, inside a 1 man tent with an inflatable sleeping pad. I am about 6' tall 190 lbs., could it was just long enough and wide enough, but would have appreciated a couple extra inches of room. If you are any bigger you may find it cramped. It compresses down very small with included compression bag - great for the minimalist. Perfect for motorcycling or backpacking. I was able to fit the bag, sleeping mat, tent, rain gear w/ gators, and a XL bike touring cover in one saddle bag on my Road King. Love this bag.
