Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Men's Transition Shorts:
comfortable, light and airy material, great for biking.
sizing a issue for me...the medium is suppose to be 32-34 waist size...i measured them at 35.5. and the small is a 29-31, so to match a 32 waist, the side straps have to be pulled tight to get a good fit...then the material bunches at the waist.

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Men's Transition Shorts:
These are a great pair of mountain biking shorts. The fit is a little big. Normally a medium, I found that the small's fit me the best. The removable chamois fits great and provides great cushion without feeling intrusive. Get these, you won't be disappointed.

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Men's Transition Shorts:
Five months ago was my first bike to work day - 15 miles to the office, and it took a while to recover. My gear at the time was contributing to injury. The solution: better gear!
With Bay Area traffic, commuting by car is a like a knife fight in a phone booth. Biking has become my commute of preference, now averaging four days each week. Being reluctant to join the Spandex brigade I chose these Transition Shorts whether riding the road or MTB. Currently have purchased four pairs.
You might choose to wear these shorts all day at the office rather than change. Appearance wise, they are on a par with the typical blue jean casual attire in our high tech company. It saves an hour at the gym.
The liner is great for all the right reasons: minimal chafing, moisture & odor control, comfort and support. The shorts themselves look great and are quite compliant to movement or sitting at a desk or in a clean-room. No "butter" is required for short hauls.
Care is a snap. Just use a cool machine wash and hang on a drying rack overnight to dry.
Am I happy with these items? Quite!

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Men's Transition Shorts:
I like these shorts a lot.
I use them both for mountain biking, hiking and general around the house, around town.
I removed the inner liner/chamois (it just snaps out) and use them without it even when biking. Wish you could just buy 'em without the liner for a little less money.
Length is good for biking and hiking.
I would prefer a stretchier material.
Waist is adjustable using some pull tabs on the side.
Cargo pockets have two velcro strips on each one. Fairly secure, but small stuff could possibly fall out.
