These boots are comfortable and functional. I've used them 3 times so far in kayak outings that included wading in knee-deep water of 35-45 degrees F. They're snug, but not hard to slip on and off. The under-sole is ribbed and stiffened but not heavy, so you want to step carefully when walking over rocks or sharper objects.
