I used this twice while hiking and ski touring for about 3 hours each. Both times I heated the thermos with hot water and then put soup in. It was about 15 that day, but thermos was in my pack. By the time lunch came around, soup wasn't even luke warm. Returned and going to get a heafty stanley

I bought this thermos to transport my morning coffee from home to the office. I can pour hot coffee in, screw on the two tops, throw it in my purse, ride 45 minutes on the subway, and the coffee will still be hot when I get to my desk-- and nothing will have spilled! I would imagine it would work great to keep liquids hot or cold while hiking, too, but I haven't had the opportunity to try it out yet.
My only complaints are that the logo is starting to rub off after less than a month of usage, and that it's a little tough to wash. (If I had a bottle brush, it would be no problem.)

The manufacturer's sticker and UPC was not an "easy peel" which required GooGone to remove, the result was the EMS logo getting damaged in the process. A cosmetic issue, but still frustrating.
