I think these are very useful gaiters, but not to be confused with full versions. These are not heavy duty gaiters that will stop provide leg protection and keep your feet dry. They will keep rocks out of your shoes and are perfect for trail running or hiking on appropriate terrain. These will not keep water out, except for very light spray. They are great for someone looking for very light gaiters.
