Great product and even better service. I needed a larger rig for my large legs (I weight lift a lot). I needed it fast for a rock climb in the Wichita Mtns. EMS had the product and got it to me with plenty of time to spare. This was my first time dealing with them and they were very knowledgable and professional. It won't be my last. Thanks!

i use it for belaying and climbing indoor haven't used it for outdoor yet but will be great. full security on this harness and really good comfort. no problems with it.

I've gone through quite a few climbing harnesses since 1973.

This is the second BD Momentum AL harness I've owned. Pretty much wore out the first one. I like the design and comfortable fit, gear loops and full strength rear loop. Not sure about the new leg loop buckling system just yet. But adjustable leg loops are a must for me in any harness. IMO, adjust-ability is a lot more important than padding.

I have used this harness for a while now, and found it to be perfectly acceptable. There is really quite little to say -- it works fine, and is reasonably comfortable. I do like how the gear loops lay very flat to your waist. I frequently find myself climbing through fibreglass filled walls and ventilation ducts, and I notice that the close in gear loops don't frequently get snagged (e.g., on nails or screws).

I was looking for a solid harness at a reasonable price to go to a nearby rock gym several nights per week. One of the climbing instructors from my local EMS recommended this harness, commenting that it's the harness they use at the EMS Climbing School. That's all I needed to know; I went home and ordered it that afternoon. (It was off-season so the store only had limited quantity on hand, and no Medium sizes, which is what I needed.)

I've used the harness at least a dozen times already. It's super comfortable. I've only used it indoors so far, but plan to do some outdoor climbing with it this year.

No complaints whatsoever. Great harness, great price.

This is my first harness and it is perfect for the light climbing that I use it for. It's well made and I don't have much to complain about. The straps that connect the waist belt to the leg straps are kind of hard to tighten but it's easy to work around. I really like it.

Great product for the price. Great for top roping. Not much difference between it and the higher price harnesses.

Got this harness while on sale since my first harness was too big. I wasn't expecting much, but this harness was really comfortable. The waist can be difficult to adjust along with the elastic running to the legs. I went outdoor climbing for the first time and I was happy that this is comfortable to hang around it.

I've only tried top roping so far, but I hope to start lead climbing soon. I'm sure this harness will perform great in most environments.

I was looking for a good all around harness (something for rock climbing, ice climbing, and mountaineering). The old style of the AL had buckles on the leg loops that could be completely undone so that the harness could be put on while standing up and one would not have to stick a heavy boot/crampon combination through. The new style has some patent pending adjusters that won't work for my purposes. Several of the staff at my local EMS recommended the Petzl Corax as a good all-arounder. As soon as they have it in stock at my local store, that's what I'll be purchasing. Other than that, I own many and am a big fan of BD products. This is a nice harness at a nice price if you are just starting out.
