Comments about BIG AGNES Insulated Q Core Sleeping Pad:
As a side sleeper and backpacker, I have tried many of the various brands of sleeping pads in my quest to get a good night's sleep. With other pads that were too thin, I would wake up with sore hips and shoulders, or with some of the lightweight pads, keep others up with the noisiness of the pad, or just roll off the pad during the night. I no longer have these problems with the Q Core! The pad is so thick and plush, that I still am comfortably cradled on my side after letting out a little air to dial in the comfort. Best of all, since the pad has slightly raised bolsters on the sides, I no longer feel like I am going to roll off the pad during the night. Since the surface is more quilted in its pattern, it feels more like a regular mattress. While I have tried to cut my backpacking weight for my core items, I will be taking this pad as my "luxury item" when I am camping from now on. The only cons are that this pad is heavier than some of the lightweight options, so it would not be the thing for an extreme gram counter. Also, since it is 3.5 inches thick, expect to use a fair amount of lung power blowing it up. However, it does pack down to a fairly small size. Lastly, I have not had the chance to test the pad in winter conditions, but I was extremely warm and comfortable in the 40s, and I tend to sleep colder.

Comments about BIG AGNES Insulated Q Core Sleeping Pad:
I finally had to trade in my old crash pad. I looked at a number of sites + my local EMS store and they had just sold out of the Q Core. I ordered online and it came super quick. I was so excited I over inflated on the first try (must of had my old pad in mind) and slide off to many times. No need too, I have since refined the inflation and it works fantastic, warm and comfy!

Comments about BIG AGNES Insulated Q Core Sleeping Pad:
I have not actually used this product yet but will be in a week. I inflated it as soon as it arrived and stretched out on it for quite a while. I have to say this is a very comfortable thick cushy pad. What interested me most about this pad is that I am a side sleeper and to be able to lay on my side and to feel comfort and not the ground or pain against pressure points was wonderful! Also as thick as it is I never felt as though I would roll off. My husband and I both camp and backpack camp so the small compact light size was very important. This pad offers it all. I'll find out if it keeps me warm from the cold damp ground next week and if it holds up, thus the 4 stars. All in all this seems to be a great product. My husband wants one now. Maybe for Christmas.

Comments about BIG AGNES Insulated Q Core Sleeping Pad:
Just purchased one of these as a replacement/substitute for the Big Agnes 2.5" inflatable pad. The quilted pattern, greater thickness, and the high side tubes made a big difference in the comfort. I never felt like I was sliding off the pad, and it was easy to stay centered. The weight was only a few ounces more than the 2.5" pad, and the pack size was also comparable. Only complaint is the high price, but the comfort kinda makes it worth it for multi-day trips.

Comments about BIG AGNES Insulated Q Core Sleeping Pad:
I am both a minimalist and comfort driven and this pad fulfills both needs. The pattern keeps you from rolling off!
I got the pumphouse accessory to help with inflation and it made a big difference in the time it takes to blow it up.
Expensive but worth it.
