The Hurricane sandals are quite comfortable and light weight. I always order these in a size 8 and they are consistent with other Teva sandals I have bought in the past. One change I noticed from the last pair I bought is that the heel strap is adjustable too. That is a plus.
The only minor con is that the straps are a little short compared to past models - there is a lot more velcro showing. Shoe is still comfortable though.

I've had several pairs of Tevas over the years but this is my first pair of Hurricane XLTs and I love them. They were comfortable the first time I put them on and I recently walked about 10 miles in them with no discomfort whatsoever. They're very light weight and seem less clunky than a more heavy-duty Teva sandle, but still seem very durable.

I have lived in these sandals from spring through fall for two years, and they're holding up amazingly well. They have been to school events, on camping trips, canoeing, and more. On the last canoe trip, I thought they'd be torn apart as the put-in area was soft mud, and we sank up to our knees, but they survived, still attached to my feet! A little scrub and they were fine! I like the fact that once you position your foot on the arch, everything else is adjustable. My only complaint is that I am trying to get a pair for my daughter, but she is "in between" full sizes.
