My mom has made me a Smartwool fan. I have three other pair which are of a thicker texture; great for running in the snow. These are a slightly thinner texture, and work best for those transitional days, when it's not snowy, but is still "toe-chill" cold. I'm hoping they hold up. They're still reasonably new, so time will tell. So far I'm pleased.
