I have used the Spyridon's for trail running, hiking, kayaking and everyday wear so far and they are comfortable and natural feeling no matter what I do. The fit was perfect from the start, no "breaking in" period necessary. The only "con" I have is that they are somewhat difficult to get on until you get used to them. I love wearing these shoes in all types of settings and the traction on both dry and wet surfaces has been great, plus with the Vibram sole I can feel every surface underneath so I transition in all types of terrain more quickly.
