bought this rack primarily to carry snowboards and it's awesome. love the sliding arms - makes getting boards on/off super easy..
it's also really wide. My friend has a similar rack but 4 regular boards are pretty snug, almost overlapping.. With this rack, I can easily fit 4 wide boards with no problem.
Only con I can think of is that I can't flush mount the rack onto the Thule Aero bars. That would make a nice, sleek install.

I love having a ski roof rack which leaves more room for packing inside. The only drawback is that it says 6 pairs of ski's and I was surprised to see that 1 pair of shaped ski's and 2 pair of wide boys filled the rack. I'm wondering if I will be able to get two snowboards with my ski's. Wish it was a little wider.

Like the racks alot. Hold things securely. Because of my car's roofline, the racks are easier to keep level if you put the front racks tie down strap knobs pointing toward the front of the vehicle and the back racks Knobs toward the back. The lock cores were a little difficult to switch out, compared to other Thule products, but by just gently bouncing the racks on their sides on a padded chair, the cores finally came out.

I've only used this ski rack once this year but it was very easy and worked great. I carried two snow boards and two pairs of skis with no problem. It's easy to close, lock, and open. Its also easy to put on and take off my Thule bars. I'm very satisfied with this purchase

i use the product to carry snowboards. fits 4 boards just fine, super easy to get in and out even with mittens on. the rack does whistle when you get around 50mph, so im thinking about the wind deflector.
