Comments about THERM-A-REST Z Lite Sol Sleeping Pad, Regular:
I recently started going on more backpacking trips in the Adirondacks and needed something lighter than my old thermarest base camp pad. My budget was tight so this seemed like a solid choice. It's bulky, but since it weighs less than a pound you can strap it anywhere and you won't notice it. First night with it was not fun only because I wasn't used it, but after that It was fine. Going from a 2.5in air pad to this was a big change. Only other thing is that it's suppose to be 20% warmer due to a reflective barrier. They basically took the pad and sprayed it with silver stuff. I don't know if or how that equates to 20% more warmth, but I'm a 3 season backpacker so it's effect is minimal for me. Overall I'm pleased with my purchase.
