I bought these as extra binoculars for kayaking and day hikes. Their compact size is perfect. They are a great value and worth the purchase, however they not compare with the quality and eye relief (I wear glasses) of my Pentax DCF HR II binoculars, but those were much more expensive so it's not a fair comparison. I'm happy with the purchase and would buy them again. It didn't get 5 stars only because of the eye glass limits.
