Comments about OBOZ Women's Sawtooth Low BDry Waterproof Hiking Shoes:

I shopped in my local EMS store and tried on the regular Oboz Sawtooth shoes and loved them. They didn't have the Sawtooth Dry in my size but the saleswoman assured me they would fit the same. So I ordered the Sawtooth Dry from another store. Unfortunately, they do not fit the same. I found the Sawtooth Dry to have less arch support, be stiffer, and be roomier all around, which is a problem for my narrow feet.

I wore them to work a couple of days and took the dog on half a dozen easy hikes to start breaking them in, but by the 3rd hike the toe of the right boot was starting to delaminate (the rubber was coming off). I also found them to be much too stiff, so much so that I must have been forced to change my gait, because I ended up getting shin splints (I'm not a runner so it wasn't that). I tried them with a pair of Superfeet, which I've had good luck with in the past, and it did not help.

My last complaint is trivial but they use those confounded round laces that never stay tied!

So needless to say, back to EMS they went.

Comments about OBOZ Women's Sawtooth Low BDry Waterproof Hiking Shoes:

These are the best low hiking shoes I have ever purchased. I have thin feet and these shoes fit perfectly. The shoes can be adjusted so that my foot does not slide around when hiking up or down hill. There's enough room in the toe box for comfort and there's enough arch support for all day wear. If you have thin feet, this is a great shoe.

Comments about OBOZ Women's Sawtooth Low BDry Waterproof Hiking Shoes:

I have the non waterproof (nwp) sawtooth and just purchased the sawtooth bdry. The nwp pair does seem to have a better arch in comparison but keeping the wp pair. Tried multiple other brands but toebox on oboz is good for me; liked keen also but they were much stiffer in wp pair. My nwp pair is at least a year old and no noticeable breakdown as yet. Have Ahnu wp pair that i really like but insole flattened out quickly and my feet hurt when hiking on rougher terrain for any length of tome.

Just wore these for two weeks in Nicaragua. They performed great through extremely muddy jungle trails (my feet stayed completely dry!) and on sharp, craggy lava rock. My feet didn't get too hot either.

Trail shoe sturdiness in an athletic style, the color SAND has nice color combinations that work with black, gray, and brown pants; very comfortable but with a stiff enough sole for uneven trails.

Love these hiking shoes. My feet have always get sore hiking downhill but these were great. No toe soreness at all. Took them on a trip to Zion, Bryce and Yosemite so they got plenty of ups and downs. My feet love them!
