I took these 'out of the box' to take advantage of our early spring weather and hike one of the Berkshire peaks. They were extremely comfortable, kept my feet dry, and had great traction on the leafy trails. Nice and lightweight too. I have weak ankles so I could use a little more ankle support. Other than that, these are a great buy.

Bought the waterproof version of Keen hiking shoe to replace my worn-out ones. Waterproof qualities stopped after several months of light use. Tho comfortable, I advise you to keep your receipt (I did not, or I would be returning them), be prepared to apply leatherproof, save your money & get the cheaper version, or buy a better shoe.

I can't say enough about the traction and comfort of these shoes! I was a little worried because my sensitive (read: "inexperienced") feet are prone to blisters, but had no such problems wearing these. These shoes were light, breathable, supportive, yet still flexible, even on a hot day with steep trails. Highly recommended!

Letter carrier. Use for work everyday. Good support. Only con I found was when breaking shoe in the toe width was a little off. Small callous on right big toe. I was wearing a different style keen shoe before I purchased these and I would have stayed with the other style except they changed the cut of the shoe and it wasn't comfortable anymore. Just wish the big toe part on these had a little more room.
